Hi all!! This post will have nothing to do with photography or anything of the like. Sorry if that's disappointing, but I have some other great news that I want you to be a part of!! I have a second blog specifically for a trip I will be going on to Kenya this summer and for all the crazy things God has planned for me later in life. Here's the link! http://notesfromatwentysomething.blogspot.com I'll be updating all things trip related from personal struggles and triumphs to team preparations and taking off! There's also a donation button if you feel called to support me monetarily. Promise I'll get to posting about photography soon! I've done a few different jobs recently, just haven't had a chance to get in and fix up the pictures a bit. (Overexposure is a real pain sometimes.) Alright that's all for now. Go check out my Kenya blog!!!
Love,
Liz.
LC Photography
As an official 20-something, I feel like it's time to make something of my life. Here, I plan on posting my work as an amateur photographer. Photography is a true passion of mine and I like to make it affordable for all who want pictures. I believe we all have the right to capture our precious moments. After all, they only happen once.

Austin Henderson
I'm really excited to finally get to post new pictures to my blog here today! These pictures were done for my neighbor's son for his high school graduation announcements. When I was driving out to Mahomet this morning, I was rather pessimistic about this shoot being able to happen because it was definitely raining too much to bring out the camera. But thankfully, the rain held off and we were able to head out to our local forest preserve and get a few good shots! Austin is finishing up his senior year at Mahomet-Seymour high school and plans on attending Parkland College in the fall to study respiratory therapy. Austin plays for the varsity baseball team, and loves the Chicago Cubs. While he's kind of a quiet guy, every once and awhile I was able to get a chuckle or a witty one-liner out of him. I hope you enjoy these pictures of one of my best friends's little brother, Austin!
and here's the announcement I made for their family!

Spring Fever
Hey all! Hope everyone has been well today, even though the weather has been a bit dreary. Every time the sun pokes out from behind the clouds, it feels a little more like spring. I can't wait to go home for just a few days and pick up the camera again. It's been far too long since I've been able to get some good shots. Hopefully now that I have a job I'll be able to save up for my own professional grade camera rather than continue to borrow (or sneak away with) my dad's. It would be lovely to have my own to take out while I'm here at school, after all I do spend majority of my year here. Plus, I've had many friends ask to do some fun shoots on the trail or on the quad, and I would be tickled to do them, but getting the camera here is rather a hassle. If you know anyone who has a camera that they don't use or are trying to get rid of, please don't hesitate to contact me!! I'm all about bargain shopping. =)
On another note, as my second year of college winds down (or picks up depending on what classes you're taking) picture season picks up! If you or anyone you know would like grad pictures, engagement pictures, or the like, shoot me an email or leave me a comment! I am more than happy to work on all types of sessions. Also, if anyone just wants to do a for fun shoot free of charge, I would love to get some extra practice.
Well, for now that's all I've got. Hopefully I'll be back soon with some new pictures!
Peace and Love,
Liz

Provincetown, MA
This past summer I was fortunate enough to get to take a road trip with my dad out to the very tip of Cape Cod to see my Aunt Kari get married! It was just over a 20-hour drive, giving us plenty of time to talk, joke, laugh, and take in all the new and different places as we drove. Once we got to Provincetown, or Ptown for short, we were greeted by some of the friendliest and quirkiest locals I think I've ever met! Being right off the coast, the weather was gorgeous and the food was fresh. I don't know that I've ever seen a place look as beautiful as Herring Cove Beach at sunset. We only stayed for three days, but there were so many wonderful memories made from this mini vacation--from having a bonfire on the beach, to meeting new family members, to whale watching and seeing how truly awesome creation is. Here are some of the many pictures taken that weekend to give you a quick glimpse of how great this place really was!

Hunter's face might be the best part. |
only in Ptown... |
instead of a champagne toast, everyone took shots of Patron or Belvedire (I may have spelled that wrong). I took a shot of cranberry juice. =) |
he loves me for this one. |

I don't remember what number that was, but Caeb and Rose were becoming pretty close buds. |
looks delish, right? |
it was. |
it's not a real party until you find a guy passed out on the beach and pose with him. |
